We always think that they love us because we are good, but we never suspect that good are those who love us. – Leo Tolstoy
Probably they don’t love us because we are perfect.
Think about it.
Social bonds are not created through perfection, they arise in the middle of imperfection, when rough edges rub against each other.
People call our attention thanks to these million tiny little mistakes they aren’t even aware of.
They make us human.
Sometimes we have no idea how much we appreciate these characteristics until they are gone. Expectations are the natural enemy of chance.
So here is my key to happiness: don’t expect anything!
Live your life, be proud of your rough edges, celebrate the imperfection, be loud, be different, be special, just be you.
